Does every parent think REALLy think their child is a genius?

No offense but I don't understand why so many people think their kids are geniuses just because they can do the basics. Numbers, colors, sentences, etc are the basics. At 19 months I would say he was a genius if he could read at a 2nd or higher grade level, could do math, etc. ADHD is so overly diagnosed and now it seems it's a fad to have a baby genius. I'm a member of mensa, so I get to have the label. If you think your son is a genius, have him tested. Until then, keep the genius title to those of us in the top 2 percent.
